Iain McDonald
Iain's inspirations come from every form of nature and the outdoors whilst tramping, running, and exploring parts of his homeland New Zealand. Our big backyard keeps him inspired and driven to push the limits of design. Iain began in a printing and photography department in Scotland and from there moved onto design for apparel in New Zealand and Australia having completed art school and design college in Scotland and Australia. He has experience in marketing which supports him in creating innovative ideas and concepts for our contract clients and most recently has begun designing for our GC retail stores.
Iain has a particular strength in nature inspired indigenous art, 'outside the box' ideas and concepts, and a wealth of knowledge in screen-printing techniques and processes.
