Doing good..

Doing good..

We finish 2021, which has been an unusual year, with mixed emotions.

It is fair to say that we have experienced a lot and the telling point, have we learnt a lot, will become apparent as we travel through 2022.

Our commitment this year has been to become a better company and do things right as we navigate our path to become a B Corp company.  We chose this path because we felt that we needed an external measure to keep us on track.  We are committed but envious of startups that can set themselves off on the right path from the beginning.  Changing an older company takes a different kind of commitment.  One of our suppliers has achieved world class supply line integrity and that will become a measure we will ask others in our supply chain to try to achieve.  So, there will be challenges that as we head into our Christmas break will create both excitement and awareness of what lies ahead.

Our second commitment this year has been to survive.  COVID has been harsh on our business and like a lot of businesses worldwide we have had the challenge of adapting to a new norm.  This commitment to change direction is a great partner to deciding to become a better company.

Christmas is a time of doing good. The way you spend Christmas is far more important than how much you spend at Christmas. It is all about the moments. We take memories of Christmas as a Child with us through life.

Global Culture is a brand that celebrates ”the way we live”.  We are about creating clothing that people will associate with a moment in their life, or time with a friend or family. We want them to remember and celebrate things they have done, things they wish they had done or moments they had shared with others and remember fondly.  Our art and clothing will act as the catalyst for a style of living or a way of living that is becoming more universally adopted as people move to live more actively, share time with others and care about the environment they live in.

No,  said with conviction is better than a yes to please, or worse, to avoid trouble.” So said Mahatma Gandhi,

Stop and take your time to notice things and make those things you notice matter. Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.

It is time to think about your own needs.

Great thoughts to take on board as we prepare for the new year.  Have a great Christmas.
