When climbing up the mountains was our favourite challenge we were continually thinking of our bodies we had to rehydrate. We don’t need much evidence to support a good idea, however researchers tell us that a pint of beer post-workout is better at rehydrating the human body than water.
- it is the sugars, salts, and bubbles in the beer that help us absorb fluids more quickly. Well done that researcher!!!!
Well the researchers found that beer was only "slightly better" than the water, but we don’t want to dwell on detail - there is only one thing we recommend “Take a beer with you and enjoy the view”.
